TPPP offers trainings to help adults who work with youth become more comfortable, confident, and informed.

Sexual Health 101
Sexual Health 101 is a daylong training that is great for teachers, nurses, counselors, parents, youth serving professionals, anyone new to the field of adolescent sexual health or in need of an update.
Topics will include:
- Reproductive Anatomy, Physiology and Adolescent Development
- What works
- Creative ways to talk about sex with teens
- STI update
- Today’s LGBTQ Issues
- Contraceptive Technology Update
- Handling parent’s concerns
Professional Development Meetings
Professional Development Meetings offer attendees the chance to network with other professionals in the field and participate in an informational meeting or training related to the field. Meetings are typically held on Friday mornings from 9-11. Click here for information on our next meeting.
National Sexuality Education Standards Trainings
At National Sexuality Education Standards (NSES) Trainings experts in each field give trainings for participants to become knowledgeable and comfortable with the information needed to provide high quality sexual health education to youth. Participants may choose to attend one of 3 trainings which cover all 7 NSES topics by grade level (Elementary, Middle or High School). NSES Trainings cover the standards in:
- Anatomy and Physiology
- Puberty and Adolescent Development
- Pregnancy and Reproduction
- STIs and HIV
- Healthy Relationships
- Personal Safety
